My Blog
I’ve used the words of Margaret Becker to start my blog because every time I hear this song the words move me to do some soul-searching. (chorus removed twice) Look Me in the Eye I found a letter I wrote to You In the bottom of the drawer Simple words, simple point of view That […]
Read MoreWhatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going. Ecclesiastes 9:10 Lack of time is a major hindrance to discovering our talents and something that cannot necessarily change simply because we want it to. Effort, on […]
Read MoreMore times than not, when we hear the word season, we think of the time of year. Especially for those of us who live where there are four specific seasons. Arleen Jennings came to speak at our Ladies Tea in March. Many of the women present were in the midst of reading her book on creativity. We were all blessed by the words that she shared with us that night on how we were made to be creative and the need to practice our creativity. Several times throughout her talk I could feel that it wasn’t Arleen speaking but the Spirit of God through her. The message was exactly what we needed to hear and met us on a personal level right where we are at. Arleen would tell stories of her journey to creativity that were very touching and I appreciated the way she was willing to take the risk and reveal her heart to us. We all were ministered to that night.
