About Me
I am forever grateful that JESUS made Himself real to me at a young age and I have gladly lived for Him ever since.
When I was nineteen, I married the love of my life, and we still like each other. I used to tell that to the soon-to-be-married college students where I worked, and it was often greeted with furrowed brows. I’d grin and say, “Love is the easy part. When you like each other, the rest takes care of itself.”
Five children, nine grandchildren, and 46 years later, life is good.
When the kids were little, I used my free time to draw, paint, or quilt. (Be sure to check out my Gallery Page) I also homeschooled each of them through the third grade. Those years flowed right into attending all their sporting events and band concerts. Eventually, I worked at a Christian college. It wasn’t until later in life that I quit my job and took up writing.
I believe if you give God your time and your talents, great things can happen. By using my gift of storytelling, I now have seven published novels. They are clean, and fast-paced mysteries with a touch of romance and suspense. My goal in writing is to move the heart of my readers by including messages of hope surrounded by purpose.
My Treehouse Office
I thought it would be fun to add a few pictures from my treehouse because it gives you a glimpse of who I am. I didn’t like to read when I was younger because I was too active and loved being outdoors. Now I have a way to enjoy nature while being productive. It’s a great space to write.
I also love to hike
One of my favorite places to do so is at Letchworth State Park. It’s only a half hour from our house, located in the Western part of New York State.
Below are more great places we've hiked
